Folks, I hope you are doing well. Honestly, I am hanging on in my journey through this world. I am disgusted by what I am seeing occurring in these last days. From the promotion to open sin to money grubbers proclaiming “God’s will” in their lives.

I will write today on the latter. For as I work closely with people in real estate I see weekly on Facebook and in person those who have God’s name on their lips, but He is far from their heart. For they often proclaim that His will is for them to be rich, wealthy and far from squalor.

But Scripture paints a completely different picture. For His will is for men to know and follow Him. To follow Him is to preach the Gospel to the utter most parts of the world. If He places us high or low in this world it is not for our own revelry and debauchery.

6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1Tim 6:6-10)

Brethren, beware of the hour and stay firm on your Foundation. The hour is late and we should already have our lamps trimmed and ready. Blessings in Christ Jesus.
