Accountability

26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

32 But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 34 for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

37 “For yet a little while,
And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”

39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul. (Heb. 10:26-39)

How in the same breath do we speak of accountability, but are unable to be accountable ourselves? When do we pull the log out of our eyes and see our transgressions and how we are treating others? When we come upon judgement day? I hope not, by then it could be too late. How do we become the cheering section for those who are vile with every word that come from their lips? Is this the way God wants us to be? Are we not of peace of mind with the Lord and not politically correct or do we get angered by those that have more to say from the Lord than we do? Where does Jesus have an attitude about having the upper hand in our faith and our words? We are all told by God that He loves all of us and that He will use us if needed to get out what he wants us to preach about. Do we take matters in our own hands? Are we angry at what we see or how we feel? Do we let the Lord help us find peace in our heart to fight off the anger and express love from Him? When are we going to really listen to the Lord, when it is too late?

Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. (Mat. 7:1-5)

There are many who suffer and are under attack for their witness in the Lord and there are many who suffer and are under attack because they are acting out of their own self will and standards apart from God. When we lash out in anger and spitefulness we are in danger of being chastised by God or worse yet being reserved for utter darkness!

12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now

“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator. (1Pet. 4:12-19)

18 Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh. 19 For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

22 “Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;

23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. (1Pet. 2:18-25)

God’s Mouthpiece

Brothers and Sisters, if we are truly saved in Christ and called to be disciples we are mouth pieces for God. Called to preach and draw others to repentance in Christ Jesus. When we speak to people about the Lord do we want them to listen to our words or do we want them to hear God? Are we taking the right approach about how God should be heard or do we let Him speak for Himself through us? Why do we need to try so hard to tell people about the Lord if he can be heard by those who listen and help others to listen? If we can not communicate with others about the Lord and what He has done in our lives then we are dictators, stuffing God down their throats any chance we get. Think about how some conversations get started and how people get interested in the word of the Lord. When we approach someone or they approach us and they ask us about our faith in Christ what do we do? Do we proceed to tell them what we want them to hear or do we Let the Holy Spirit flow and let God give the right answers to their questions without the scare tactics or attacks against their views? If our communication skills are wrong then shouldn’t we let God pick the speakers and let the Lord teach us to be better in Him, just like with Moses and Aaron? We are not worthy at times to preach what He wants us to say, but the love and the grace of the Lord helps us to be strong and with that comes the words of the Lord. Jesus walked with God speaking only what the Father directed Him to say. He listened and He did what was asked of Him down to the last day of Sacrifice on the Cross. Again I stress should we be walking in the likeness of the Lord and not in ourselves when it comes to communication? Or do we forever try to see what can make God look better through our words not his?
And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. (ICor. 2:1-5)

5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
(Col 4:5-6)

But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: 2 that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; 3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.6 Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, 7 in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,  8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.

9 Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, 10 not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.(Titus 2:1-15)

Afraid of God?

16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”
17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
18 He said to Him, “Which ones?”
Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19 ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
23 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27 Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?”
28 So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first. (Mat. 19:16-30)
What are we really afraid of when it comes to the Lord? Are we afraid of God or afraid of what we have to give up to follow him? Is it our pride, or maybe it is our stubbornness. Either way it is all of him or nothing right? Do we really want to only partly follow Him and see what the out come is? Or do we lay down our lives for Him and become what we should be for the Lord? What challenges do we face in this world with Christ? When he calls us to follow him doesn’t that mean we take on the role of being a disciple of Christ, or do we turn around and become the Rich man who can not let go of the thing that hinders him? When do we become disciples? We become disciples when we can in the toughest time throw down our possessions, our anger, spitefulness, and  unforgiving tongues and let God come in to our lives and not have to be fearful of who He is. This is the time of Love in all that want to be with Him and hear the truth from Him, not us. So isn’t our job to guide not push. To help not hinder. To love, not hate. To live in His joy, not in what we enjoy? We need to be afraid of not being with Him, and to not be afraid of Him. We are not aware of the countless people that are afraid of Him and his truth. Jesus was a blasphemer in His own town, because he spoke of truth; and truth is what people fear the most.
Folks this is what my wife wrote last night. I see the Lord calling us into repentance to follow Him and preach the Gospel. Not sit in the walls of the institutional church relying on the pastor, deacons or board to preach the Gospel. For we were all called to share His truth and apply Scripture to our lives.

24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. 28 “Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” (Mat. 16:24-28)

I Corinthians 13

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Brethren and sisters, God’s Love is paramount to all things Christ. For if we love our fellow men we will call them out of their sin. For the penalty of sin is eternity in Hell. We must always point to Christ Jesus who is gracious and merciful above measure.

But what happens if we call a brother or sister to repentance and they refuse to listen to you as well as any witness of the Holy Spirit? That may depend on their relationship with Jesus. It may also depend on the seriousness of that sin. I do know that Scripture says that many will fall away from Jesus in the last days. Reference 2 Thessalonians 2:2-4. And I think we are seeing many fall away in this part of the last days. For many profess Christ but it is a perverted Christ they follow. Only God knows for sure where that precious line is with each person. But as disciples of Christ who are stilling walking strongly in the Spirit we must still always point to the truth in love.

How must we point to Scripture in love? By telling the person how much we care about them and love them in Christ Jesus. We must also in a loving manner use Scripture to help the Lord shine a light on that area of the person’s life that they should repent of. But we cannot do this without the leading of the Spirit. But even when we are led of the Spirit that person might still refuse that witness and hurl insults. They also might hurl whatever sin they might think you committed at you. I caution you to talk to Jesus beforehand to make sure you truly have not committed any wrong. If you have, also seek that person’s forgiveness.

Here’s an example of how not to call someone to repentance. Don’t attack and make accusations without cause. Don’t make lists. And get right to the point. For if you love them there is no need to beat around the bush. God loves His children very much and will chastise us if need be.

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”

If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
(Hebrews 12:3-11)

The Pagan Holiday of Easter vs Jesus Christ…

The Pagan Holiday of Easter vs Jesus Christ, the Passover Lamb Who Rose From the Dead!

In shopping malls across the USA, that large throne where Santa Claus sat is still warm, and the Easter Bunny has already moved in and taken up shop. I walked through a couple of different malls recently and I watched as the people waited on long lines to have their photos taken with a bespectacled Easter Bunny with large round glasses. I wondered who the person was behind those Easter Bunny costumes, one which looked like it had seen better days, and probably could have used a good dry cleaning. Is it not interesting how the resurrection of Jesus Christ got somehow entangled with all of this pagan nonsense? How did this so called Christian holiday called “Easter Sunday” became mixed up with such silly stuff like chocolate Easter Bunnies, jelly beans and colored eggs? What does all of that stuff have to do with Jesus Christ anyway? Well the answer to that question is that it has absolutely NOTHING to do with those things at all. I will not go into the pagan origins of that nonsense because there is a voluminous amount of material available online, and probably in your local library, if you are truly interested.

Have you ever wondered why the so called “Christian” holiday known as “Easter” is celebrated around the same time as the Jewish Passover? Well to tell you the truth the reason they are celebrated at the same time of year is because there is an absolute connection between the Jewish Passover and the day known as “Easter” or “Resurrection Sunday.” I am going to show you that this whole thing about Easter Bunny and all the silly stuff that goes along with it, is nothing more than a demonic distraction, meant to take your eyes off of what Jesus Christ has done. It has been going on for many decades now and few ever seem to notice that they are being deceived.

Satan is the master of deception, and he absolutely hates everything about Jesus Christ, including his very name. It is no coincidence that the Jewish Passover holiday falls around the same time as the so called Christian holiday called Easter. Growing up as a Roman Catholic I had no idea, that there was any tie between the Passover and Easter. My thinking was always that the Jewish people had their holidays, and we had our own. Easter to me was mainly “Easter baskets” filled with jelly beans and chocolate bunnies, and the fake green grass inside the basket. The candy would be devoured in no time, and then it was wait until next year after that.

I write to you today as a former Roman Catholic who has had my spiritual eyes opened up. I speak out against the gross deception of the Roman Catholic church, because the Spirit of God compels me to do so. Satan is so clever in his ways, and he continues to deceive souls at an alarming rate, considering the fact that so many Evangelical Christian leaders speak about Jesus Christ and Revival on the one hand, and then join hands with the cult of Rome on the other hand. Are those “Christian” leaders and pastors deceived? Of course they are, but you will have a difficult time convincing them of that. The Spirit of God must open their eyes, but they must allow the Spirit to open the scriptures to them. I know that the word of God is going to stand in the end, so it is impossible for a false gospel to stand when the scriptures speak so clearly against it.

The best way to combat Satan and his lies is to simply preach the word of God, and that is exactly what Jesus did when the Devil came after him. Jesus quoted the word of God back to the Devil and he preceded the scriptures with the words “It is written”

Here is a passage from the Bible where the Lord did that:

Then was JESUS led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of THE DEVIL. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when THE TEMPTER came to him, he said, IF thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, IT IS WRITTEN, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then THE DEVIL taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, IF thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, IT IS WRITTEN again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, THE DEVIL taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, SATAN: for IT IS WRITTEN, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then THE DEVIL leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. (Matthew 4:1-11)

Do you think that you know better than God himself? What did Jesus Christ do when the Devil came along to tempt him? He quoted the powerful word of God, because it was the truth, and the Lord knew that the Devil was a LIAR, and the father of all lies! (John 8:44) Did you notice how the Devil tried to instill doubt into the mind and heart of Jesus Christ. He used the words “If thou be the Son of God” more than once, and he even quoted the scriptures himself, when he quoted from Psalm 91:11-12. Here are those verses:

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Psalms 91:11-12)

Folks, the Devil was quoting the scriptures back to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the creator of ALL things! (John 1:1-3, Genesis 1;1, Isaiah 44:24) I am showing you this because I want you to know that the Devil is the archenemy of your soul, and distraction is one of his greatest tools. Satan attempted to get Jesus to turn stones into bread (which he could have done) because he just fasted for 40 days. Then he attempted to get Jesus to throw himself down from a high place, and quoted that passage from Psalm 91 back to Jesus. Satan was able to deceive Adam and Eve in the garden but he could not deceive Jesus Christ. In regards to the Jewish Passover, it is imperative for you to understand that it was ultimately FULFILLED in the person of Jesus Christ. The Jewish apostle Paul was deceived about the true meaning of the Passover, UNTIL he came to know Jesus Christ. He wrote the following AFTER he was converted:

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even CHRIST our PASSOVER is SACRIFICED for US: (1 Corinthians 5:7)

Paul referred to the crucified and risen Jesus Christ as our passover, because Jesus was in fact the very TRUE and ONLY FULFILLMENT of the Passover, and every Old Covenant sacrifice also. In the Old Testament book of Exodus the children of Israel were told to take a lamb without blemish, KILL IT and then apply that blood to the side and upper posts of that their doors. [Exodus 12:5-7]

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. And the BLOOD shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the BLOOD, I will PASS OVER you, and the plague shall NOT be upon you to DESTROY you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (Exodus 12:12-13)

What beautiful words are they indeed: “When I see the BLOOD, I will pass over you.” That is where the words PASSOVER came from. It was an awesome thing for the children of Israel to know that the JUDGMENT and WRATH of God would PASS OVER them. The Lord protected His people, and the firstborn were saved from destruction by simple faith in their Lord. Fast forward to the 21st Century and their are literally millions of people who serve the very same Lord that those children of Israel served back then. Their passover lamb had to be an UNBLEMISHED lamb, and it pointed to Jesus Christ, the UNBLEMISHED Lamb of God! First I will show you the Old Covenant passage:

“And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be WITHOUT BLEMISH, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:” Exodus 12:1-5

Here is the New Covenant passage which was written by the Jewish apostle Peter. He knew that all of that Old Covenant stuff was FULFILLED in the person of Jesus Christ. Peter would scream out against the modern day priesthood of the Roman Catholic church, if he saw how they twisted the scriptures, and created their own false gospel.

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious BLOOD of CHRIST as of a LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH and WITHOUT SPOT:” 1 Peter 1:18-19

The death of Jesus Christ upon the cross, was an awesome FULFILLMENT of the Old Covenant passover! Jesus Christ was totally SINLESS, and thus he was the UNBLEMISHED lamb, and a FULFILLMENT of the scriptures. Almighty God will PASS OVER every true believer in Jesus Christ, and hold back his WRATH from those who are protected by the BLOOD which Jesus Christ shed for them! That is why John the Baptist referred to Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God, which would take away the sin of the world!

“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the LAMB of GOD, which taketh away the SIN of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred BEFORE ME: for HE WAS BEFORE ME. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to ISRAEL, therefore am I come baptizing with water.” John 1:29-31

John the Baptist was born before Jesus Christ was manifested into this world, BUT he also knew that Jesus was preferred BEFORE him, because he WAS before him! John knew that Jesus Christ was eternal, and that he was sent from Heaven above! That is the TRUTH which Satan, the “god of this world” does not want the billions on the world today to understand and know. John knew that Jesus Christ was manifested in the flesh, and he knew that he was the Lamb of God. John also knew that he would be manifested to ISRAEL, but the majority of Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah, Lord, and Son of God. The majority of Jews still reject Jesus in the year 2015. If you miss the truth about Jesus Christ as the Jewish people did, then you will miss salvation, and you will certainly miss Heaven also! If Jesus Christ were not the FULFILLMENT of Passover sacrifice, then there would be no gospel at all! Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, paid the price in FULL, so there is no longer a need for a Jewish Temple to offer up sacrifices, because that has been obliterated. There has NEVER been a need for a modern day Roman Catholic priesthood either, because Jesus Christ has FINISHED the deal. (John 19:30) I serve the same Lord that Moses served and His name is Jesus Christ. I can say today that His BLOOD is upon the doorposts of my heart, and that I too will be saved from destruction because of the BLOOD of Jesus Christ. In fact, the BLOOD that Jesus Christ shed is the reality of all of those types and shadows which pointed to Him.

Satan Knows The Jewish People Need Jesus Christ Too

Satan does not want anybody to know the truth about Jesus Christ and that includes the Jewish people. Not only is there a connection between the Jewish Passover but there is a connection between the Jewish feast of Yom Kippur (day of Atonement).

If one were to study the Day of Atonement they would learn this also pointed to the person of Jesus Christ. On that day the Jewish High Priest would enter into the Holy Place [Holy of Holies] behind the veil into the very presence of God. He would bring the BLOOD and apply that BLOOD to the mercy seat which covered the ark of the Covenant. The BLOOD was to atone for the sins of the people. But there is a greater BLOOD sacrifice which took place almost two thousand years ago, that superseded, and put out of commission all of those Old Testament sacrifices, and that was the sacrifice of Christ upon the cross.

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the BLOOD of goats and calves, but by his own BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the BLOOD of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the BLOOD of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:11-14)

The big difference between those Old Testament sacrifices [offered under the Law], and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, was the fact that Jesus Christ offered Himself WILLINGLY. Jesus Christ left the glory of Heaven and was manifested in the flesh for that very purpose. The modern day Roman Catholic Priesthood is an unbiblical priesthood, as they offer up their Mass, which they claim satisfies the justice of God for sins committed against him, and I address that in this article. The Roman Catholic Priests also say their Mass for people who are already dead, and that is diametrically opposed to the truth of the scriptures. Few seem to be bothered by the falsehood of that false system, which shows you how the great apostasy has grown. The professionals in the modern day pulpits will not speak out against such falsehood because they are working hand in hand with those who have danced with Rome for decades!

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament [covenant], that by means of DEATH, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15)

The New Covenant is in the BLOOD of Jesus Christ because it was He who laid down His life for the sin of the world. If you travel to Israel you will not see a Tabernacle, or a Temple anymore, because the Lord Jesus Christ was the final sacrifice for mankind. There will be no more sacrifices. To reject the very Son of God is a most serious matter, because this is the only one who was sent by the Father to die for our sins. It does not matter whether a person is Jewish or Gentile, the BLOOD of Jesus Christ is still the only atonement for any person alive today, and the only BLOOD that will keep you out of Hell.

For the life of the flesh is in the BLOOD: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the BLOOD that maketh an atonement for the soul. (Leviticus 17:11)

When Jesus Christ died on that old rugged cross the veil in the Jewish Temple was torn in half from top to bottom by a supernatural act of God.

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost [DIED]. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; (Matthew 27:50-51)

Now what does the Easter Bunny and his jelly beans have to do with all of this? Nothing! Absolutely Nothing! Satan knows full well that the majority of people in the world have no idea that they are on the highway to Hell. He wants to keep it that way so when it comes to the gospel of Jesus Christ, his job is to keep people in darkness, so he distracts them. He is known as the “god of this world” and the majority of the world does his bidding on an everyday basis. The Jewish apostle Paul knew full well that it was Satan, the “god of this world” who kept him bound in spiritual darkness, until the gospel light shined inside his soul! Paul’s mind was blinded to the truth about Jesus Christ, and that is why he preached with such boldness AFTER he got saved. Paul knew that he deserved NOTHING but Hell, but the Lord Jesus Christ showed him mercy.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

Satan (the Devil) is the “god of this world” and he has blinded the minds of people for centuries now. As a former Roman Catholic I am so happy that the Lord Jesus Christ has opened my eyes to the gross deception and falsehood of the Catholic Church. There is absolutely no need for the Roman Catholic Priesthood because Jesus Christ paid the price in FULL almost two thousand years ago. The Jewish people know that they have no blood atonement for their sins in this modern day, because there is no longer a Tabernacle or Temple to sacrifice their animals. Why? Because Jesus Christ was the FINAL and perfect PASSOVER sacrifice for sins, and to deny that is to leave one in their own sins. This is what Jesus Christ said to the people AFTER he rose from the dead, thus proving that he was the one he said he was:

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.Matthew 28:18

Jesus Christ defeated death, and he has ALL power in Heaven and Earth. That is a whole lot of power is it not? That is why it is such an atrocity to put Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, back into the arms of “Mother Mary” whenever the pagan holiday of “Christmas” rolls around. Satan does not want YOU to know, that YOU are lost and Hell-bound, without FAITH in the real Jesus Christ. I close with this passage from the gospel of Mark, and another statement which Jesus made AFTER he rose from the dead.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that BELIEVETH and is baptized shall be SAVED; but he that BELIEVETH NOT shall be DAMNED.Mark 16:15-16

The BLOOD of the risen Passover Lamb of God is the only thing which will justify any person in this world, whether they be Jew or Gentile, and do not ever forget that! The one thing that every person in the world has in common with each other, is that each of us is UNGODLY in the sight of God, outside of salvation in Jesus Christ.

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time CHRIST died for the UNGODLY. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But GOD commendeth HIS LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us. Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED by HIS BLOOD, we shall be SAVED from WRATH through HIM.” Romans 5:6-9

“He that BELIEVETH on the SON hath EVERLASTING LIFE: and he that BELIEVETH NOT the SON shall NOT see life; but the WRATH of GOD abideth on him.” John 3:36

Hypocrites

Brethren, I and my wife share these words of the Lord not because we are perfect in ourselves, but that we examine ourselves in Christ Jesus and repent of anything wrong in our walk. If anyone has seen me or my wife as hypocrites, let them bring forth the accusation(s) so they can be considered by us before the Lord Jesus. We write this together with the Love of Christ in our hearts to draw men unto repentance and not to see them scattered into the darkness away from Christ Jesus.

39 And He spoke a parable to them: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the ditch? 40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher. 41 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? 42 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye. (Luke 6:39-42)

There are hypocrites in the Body of Christ. They consider themselves perfect in their walk, but do not rightly consider their walk. They are prideful thinking they are righteous, but do not act on God’s Truth. They love men more than God and His truth and have caused great harm to the true witness of others. Even when that truth has been exposed by others on the fringe of the assembly. Let us go forth and consider Scripture then and what my wife has written through the Spirit.
16 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed. (Mat. 16:1-4)

We want to give sound advice when we ourselves cannot even swallow the pills that we are passing out. How is it that we can speak one way one day and totally miss the point the next day.
WHEN DO WE FIGHT FOR THE LORD? When do we become mature in Christ? How can we better ourselves if the only voice we hear is our own and how righteous we sound compared to others. Don’t we need to stop being hypocrites and get our words right before we make things worse? Shouldn’t we practice what we preach and look at our own heart before we sling at others? I am not giving advice Like other hypocrites I am taking the Words of God who has shown me everyday that others, without asking, are so hypocritical and will not do right by God. For in my heart I know and I am confessing, because I know it is the right thing to do and I am not ashamed to admit that I am wrong everyday of my life even if I do not see who I have wronged or what, or where I have gone or done wrong and I know when to confess it. I am in the likeness of the Lord, but I am also the sin that Eve produced. If we are too afraid to come out in the open and Stand with our heads held high for the Lord then who do we really stand for? Was Jesus a hypocrite or did he preach of truth? Are we not suppose to be walking in the Likeness of Christ? Did He not sit with the sinners to dine? How do we know how many were saved and who wasn’t. We don’t. All we know is that He sat and not judged them. He treated them as people that needed to hear the words of the Lord. He did not act like a hypocrite did he now?
If our life was perfect we would not need God. If we had the answer to everything we would not need God. If we are more righteous then anyone else then we are saying we are better then God. Should we put ourselves above the Lord? If so aren’t we saying we are better then He is? I have seen and lived the punishment that God can and does put upon those who know better, but are too stubborn to accept it.
45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’  49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
(Mat. 24:45-51)
And now brethren, let us consider our walk before the Lord Jesus and apply His truth to our lives and walk in the Spirit.
But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. (I John 2:11)

12 But if they do not obey,
They shall perish by the sword,
And they shall die without knowledge.

13 “But the hypocrites in heart store up wrath;
They do not cry for help when He binds them.
14 They die in youth,
And their life ends among the perverted persons. (Job 36:12-14)

And the encouragement

28 For You will light my lamp;
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 For by You I can run against a troop,
By my God I can leap over a wall.
30 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

31 For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength,
And makes my way perfect. (Psalm 18:28-32)

Unfit for Fellowship

There is a ring of Truth to what the Lord had brother Mark write. Please consider it in your walk before Him. For we will all be judged individually for who we are In Christ Jesus according to His way and not ours.

Compromise

If we have compromised God’s truth, have we not compromised our faith and walk in Christ? Let me say it a different way. If we have compromised God’s Truth, have we not denied Jesus?

There are many things and people in this world that pull us away from our faith. But He has said we will be judged according to what we know about Him. The more we know the harder we will be judged. For Scripture says:

42 And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 44 Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. 45 But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, 46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. (Luke 12:42-48)

Brethren, God’s standard is according to what we know. Not what we deny we know, but what we know. For there are many times we might make excuses for ourselves or others. For men are liars and unclean. That is why we need the righteousness of Christ. That is why He calls us to be humble and not lord over one another. Let us consider our walk before Him and walk in the Spirit.

32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. (Mat. 10:32-34)

15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.(Titus 1:15-16)

27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. 29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, 30 having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me. (Phil. 1:27-30)

Jesus is Pure

Now when His disciples had come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. Then Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have taken no bread.”

But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought no bread? Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? 10 Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up? 11 How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread?—but to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 12 Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. (Mat. 16:8-12)

Brethren, there are doctrines circulating in the body of Christ that are not of Him. We must beware and test every spirit whether it is of Christ or not. Scripture is our guideline and we do not need men to interpret for us. For God can show us the Truth and help us rightly divide the Word of God. We must keep our gatherings pure and unadulterated from the world.

Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (I Cor. 5:6-8)

In Paul’s first letter to the Corinthian believers he was admonishing them to keep their worship pure. Just as I want to exhort and remind all who read this. We must not mix our fellowship with programs and shows that mirror the world. There is an abundance of examples in ministries such as Joel Osteen to Benny Hinn. You will have to examine their walk against Scripture as this is really an introductory piece at the moment.

Here’s the point. If we let one unfit doctrine into our walk with Christ it takes us a step away and could lead to another lie, then another and another and another. Pretty soon you are no longer worshipping the true Christ but a figment of your imagination or demonic spirit standing in the place of Christ. For we are warned to beware of false teachers and false doctrines. Let’s read what Peter has written to us.

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.

12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, 13 and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, 14 having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. 15 They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet.

17 These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.” (2Peter Chapter 2)

Brethren, let us not come under God’s judgment, but eat and drink of His pure and righteous feast. One of goodness and mercy for those who walk according to Truth.
