An Immeasurable Gift

Sometime over 2,000 years ago mankind was given an immeasurable gift. Something the prophets of ancient Israel yearned to see and foretold by the Holy Spirit. In the end it doesn’t matter what time of year it happened, only that mankind would realize the truth and reality of the gift apart from the pull and twistedness of the world.

Of Course I am speaking of the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin woman conceived by the Holy Spirit by the will of the Father in Heaven. Reavealed to, witnessed and proclaimed by many including simple shepherds tending their flock at night, wise men who travelled far from the East. Even foretold to and witnessed by others in Jerusalem as told to us in the Gospels. People who were devoted to God in His Truth. Expectant of the Savior who would wash away their sins in which they were held captive. Only in a temporary way having their sins appeased by the blood of cattle.

And so with this gift bestowed not only upon Israel of the Old Testament. But also a promise to the Gentiles that the whole world would have the opportunity of redemption in and through this one who would become a man of perfection. As even Pontius Pilate, the governer of the land at that time declared.’When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it.” ‘ (Mat. 27:24)

And so it is that as Jesus who is the Christ, born of a virgin woman, conceived by the Holy Spirit by the will of the Father calls men and women to repentance, I also proclaim in His name that today is the day of Salvation. Not in anyone else but the Lord Jesus the Christ.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)

“It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. (Rev. 21:6)

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” (Mat. 4:17)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Cor. 6:2)

For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. (2 Cor. 7:10)

Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance (Mat. 3:8)

  1. Al Nelson says:

44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” (Mat. 13:44-50)
