The cry of the churches is “Don’t forsake the Assembly” quoting Hebrews 10:24-25:

²⁴ And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, ²⁵ not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

But are the churches forsaking God for the assembly? When they refuse to walk in His Righteousness, Truth and Love they are. We are not called to put the numbers of the assembly first. We are to follow His commandments and let Him bring in the few who are called.

¹⁵ “If you love Me, keep My commandments. ¹⁶ And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— ¹⁷ the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. ¹⁸ I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
(John 14:15-18)
